In 1949, Mulcahy Stadium was erected on 7th Avenue and C Street. This land was given to the City of Anchorage by the federal government. The new stadium sat 750 and was named after Railroad man Bill Mulcahy. Mulcahy was much involved with Little League and the Anchorage Baseball scene. In 1964, Mulcahy Stadium was relocated to a new area at 16th and Cordova where the Anchorage Bucs and Anchorage Glacier Pilots both now call their home. Current seating capacity is 5300.
